Study of Designa nd Material of Screen Baskets for Scroll-Discharge Screen-bowl Centrifuges

摘要

Based on an analysis fo the wear characteristics of materials for making screen baskets for scroll-discharge screen-bowl centrifuges, the paper points out the cause of failure of baskets made of stainless steel wire or allumina ceramic material. The newly-developed tunstencarbide material prove to be of vital significance for study, design and application of screen-bowl centrifuges.
