Research on Design Keys to Extruded Panel for ACV Structure

摘要

because of the limitation on various factors, there's still no use in ACV main structure with extruded panel and research on these areas is still at an early stage in our country. Based on the characters of extruded panel and typical ACV structure and the rules for high performance vehicles from various Bureaus of ship, we make an analysis and research mainly on design keys such as design loads, allowable stress, the affect range of attached plate, design of welding lines, application area, structure strengthening for welded butts etc. In a word, this paper serves a reference to the use and further research of aluminum alloy extrusion for ACV structure design.
