In this papre, a novel bilayer lipid membrane on Pt support modified by ammonium hexdecanoyl trioctyl iodide (AHTI) has been fabricated. The changes in potential of the process of BLM formation on Pt support has been observed and its potential response toward iodide ion has been studied. A linear response curve from 10~(-4) to 10~(-2) mol/L iodide and slope of 57mV/PC obtained. Iodide in salt has been analysed by this new iodide ion sensor.
