Dyeing Cotton with a Dimonofluorotriazine Reactive Dye

摘要

A dimononfluorotriazine(DMFT) reactive dye containing two chromophores was used to dyeing cotton fabric. The parameters influencing on the efficiency of dyeing on cotton have been discussed in detail, including dyeing temperature, concentration of salt and alkali and fixation temperature. Compared with the same structure reactive dye containing dimonochlorotriazine(DMCT), it has much higher fixation and total fixation even in neutral or low alkali concentrations and low fixation temperature. Cotton dyed with the reactive dyes containing different reactive systems has relatively the same fastness properties.
