The divisional influent anaerobic baffled reactor was filled with stuffing and inoculated with the activated sludge of the secondary settling tank for attached bio-film to train anaerobic microorganism. The reactor with influent ratio of 4:3:2:1 in the four compartments, compared with the single influent of the anaerobic baffled reactor. The reactor ran for 15 days under the conditions of HRT=8h and ORL=0.8kgCOD/m 3 ·d. Then the running parameter was modulated at a HRT of 4h. At the 23th day, the COD removal efficiency of the divisional influent ABR was higher than that of single influent under the same conditions. The average removal rate of COD was 35% when reactor ran for 60 days. It can be deemed that the start-up on divisional influent ABR was successful.The examination studied that the two reactors removaled effect of the contaminant and adapted to nitrobenzene under the different conditions of influent manner or waterpower load and organic load.The result showed that the capability of treatment waste water can be improved through properly changing the running manner of ABR for the different water quality and waterpower term.
