By investigating deposition processes of suspended sediments in overgrown withgrass and flooded valley of the Nemunas delta and by calibration of the suspendedsediment mathematical model, in which the usual sediment deposition formulas wereemployed, we had received the results that did not meet with the measurement datain the Nemunas delta in the cases of not high sediment concentration. Therefore itwas necessary to investigate peculiarities of the flow and sediment motion in thedelta, and to work out the means for calculation improvement. In this paper somenecessary corrections of these formulas are proposed.
