Analytical solutions for the port outflow distribution were derived in this study wheneither the wall friction parameter, α ,or the port momentum parameter, β , isdominant. The numerical solutions agree well with both analytical solutions andexperimental data. For the uniformity of the outflow distribution of all ports, it is alsofound that α and β should be within a suitable range, i.e., near β = 0.594α , or thediameter of the diffuser should be close to the value of 0.353/(2-γ_d)fL.
