摘要

Graphite shape will affect property of cast iron, so it is very important to fast identify and control graphite shape for improving cast iron quality. The authors invented and studied a new method to fast evaluate graphite shape of cast iron based on surface tension test. The principle of the new method is to blow gas to melt through a capillary tube, and then to count the number of bubbles escaping at the tube end within 5 seconds and test the differential pressure in the bubble, finally to calculate an equivalent surface tension according to the number of bubbles and differential pressure. In this paper, the selection of information parameters and design method of sensor will be introduced.
