The age of the Internet of Things means: 1.1 Survivability is not just a physical game of threat weapons 1.2 Any data exchange, however brief, provides an opportunity for a cyber threat to monitor, interrupt, or damage information and combat systems 1.3 Acquisition programs need to assess vulnerabilities early enough to influence designs 2. Recoverability models using hive logic such as IRM enable the tracking of shipboard entry vectors and identification unintended accessibility 2.1 Supporting the 'Shift-Left' approach to providing cyber-resilience earlier in the system design 2.2 Reducing vulnerability risks in the design as well as costs in the post-build correction.
