Fifteen-year experience with low-energy laser applications for patient treatment in emergency-care clinics

Abstract: Low energy lasers have been successfully applied forthe treatment of more than 10 thousand patients in theSklifosovsky Scientific Research Institute forEmergency Medicine. We have reviewed and generalizedthe results of clinical investigations of 34 patientswith trauma of motor-locomotive system, 15 patientswith muscular atrophy occurred as a result of lowerextremity fracture immobilization, 124 patients withburns and of 88 post-infarction patients with ischemicheart disease, who underwent laser therapy with He-Nelaser, N$-2$/ Ultra-Violet and GaAs Infra-Redlasers.!23
