摘要

Catalyst Cu,Zn/ alumina has been widely used in the conversion of CO, especially for the synthesis of alcohols. It is commonly agreeable that Cu is the active component which acts as the adsorbing and activating center for CO. Zn acts as a promoter and improves the catalyst thermal- stability and anti poisoning ability. An adequate dispersion and suitable interaction of Cu and Zn is essential for a well formulated Cu,Zn/alumina catalyst.
