Using Second Life to Experiment Densification Strategies

This poster presents results of an experiment conducted as part of a research project called BIMBY (Build In My Back Yard) and using Second Life's the virtual world (SL) as a modeling and presentation tool. BIMBY is supported by french Research National Agency (ANR) and by the cluster ADVANCITY, it proposes a " new approach to solve the problem of urban sprawl in France: implementing strategies of piecemeal densification of residential areas by building new houses between existing houses" .
