1) Wetting between the braze and substrate was significantly improved by using sandwich filler materials of BAg-8 and titanium foils. 2)Fracturestrength of the brazed joint made with the sandwich filler material demonstrated much less data scatter. Additionally, fracture strength demonstrated peak values at the Ti content of 4.7-7.7mass%. 3) Peak values were still lower than the fracture strength of the substrate or the fracture strength of the brazed joint made with Ticusil. This result is attributed to the Ti distribution in the brazed joint.
