NEW MODULAR REFRACTORY CONCEPT FOR LADLE SPOUT

Deutsche Edelstahlwerke GmbH produces more than 1 million tons of special steel, stainless steel and tool steel with 2 steel shops at Witten and Siegen. The steel shops are both equipped with UHP Electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces, vacuum plants and treatment stands. Cast is done in 2 strand perpendicularly continuous caster or 6 strand billet/bloom caster or in ingots from 0.6 to 40 tons. Electro slag remelting is done in Siegen and Krefeld with or without inert gas shielding. Also powder metallurgy is located at Krefeld. Further processing takes place by rolling mills at Witten, Siegen and Hagen. Machining facilities are located at Witten. Forging facilities are located at Witten and Krefeld. We deliver nearly all steel grades from 0.8 mm wire up to forgings forged to shape on customers request with single weight of 50 tons. Cold rolls and pre machined moulds dies and frames are delivered to customers specifications.
