摘要

Most of the papers aimed at describing oxidation phenomena in carbon containing refractory materials use a technique which consists in heating a sample into a furnace and in measuring the weight loss and the decarbonisation layer. However, oxidation of even small amount of metallic additives in the composition can disturb the results. In this work, the oxidation behaviour of two types of carbon containing refractories material is investigated with the aim to develop the most adequate test to characterise and quantify the oxidation of industrial carbon containing refractory products.
