摘要

The goal of this paper is to compute k-β diagrams of photonic crystals, accurately and fast. For this purpose, we propose a multi-point model-order reduction scheme for the modal analysis of periodic structures, based on the finite element method. Our numerical example demonstrates that the new approach is significantly faster than conventional FE solutions, while error levels are very similar.
