On the basis of the limited number of model tests, the following conclusions were derived; 1. Fabric anisotropy of sand ground affects remarkably cyclic strength-lateral deformation behavior. 2. It is possible to evaluate cyclic strength of the ground under any deposition condition, if angle of bedding plane to maximum principal stress ψ can be estimated. 3. Flow deformation direction of sand ground beneath structure with rocking motion depends strongly on the direction of bedding plane. 4. Installation of side wall beneath the model structure has advantageous as a countermeasure against flow deformation of anisotropic ground.
