Realizing the Potential of Cost Effective Sewer Replacement in Churchill Borough

Like many of the sanitary sewer systems in the United States, Churchill Borough had an agingrnsewer that was in generally poor condition. However, most of the systems in the Churchill'srnsystem was laid under and through abandoned mine drainage seeps and discharges. For arnconstruction cost of $88,000, the Borough removed over 70,000 gallons per day of continuousrninfiltration.
