Choice substantiation and suitability of granitoids of the Nizhnekanskiy massif (Krasnoyarsk Land, Russia) for deep geological disposal of solidified high-level radioactive waste (HLW) of the Mining-Chemical Combine (Krasnoyarsk-26, now - Zheleznogorsk) are considered. The main results of geological, geophysical, geochemical and drilling works obtained to date, and the characteristics of the massif rock constituents are presented.
