The central focus of this paper is onrnthe importance of the disseminationrnof Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)rnsensor data to Command, Control,rnCommunications, Computers, andrnIntelligence (C4I) Systems for thernpurpose of providing a morerncomprehensive picture of thernbattlefield to the TacticalrnCommander. In some cases sensorrndata alone, whether from a UAV orrnfrom a manned source, does notrnalways provide a “total view” of thernbattlefield in order to allow thernCommander to put ordnance on arntarget. This paper will share informationrnregarding a specific demonstrationrnbetween the UAV Tactical ControlrnSystem (TCS) and the JointrnSurveillance Target Attack RadarrnSystem (JSTARS) Common GroundrnStation (CGS) in which UAV sensorrndata, upon tasking from the JSTARSrnCGS system, was disseminated fromrnthe TCS for use by the warfighter.rnThis data was “fused” with JSTARSrnE-8 Moving Target Indicator (MTI)rndata, giving the Tactical OperationrnCenter (TOC) Commander a morerncomplete picture of the battlefield,rnthus enhancing the mission ofrnputting ordnance on target.
