THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL INTERACTIONIN ORGANIZATIONS AND KNOWLEDGEMANAGEMENT SYSTEM SUCCESS

This study was conducted as a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Business Administration. The purposernof the study was to expand the base of knowledge in the area of knowledge management, and empirically testrnthe relationship between social interaction within an organization and knowledge management system success.rnTwo aspects of social interaction were measured: interdepartmental connectivity, and interdepartmentalrnconflict. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between both factors and thernsuccess of knowledge management system implementations.
