This paper reports the performances of a heavy-duty hydrostatic rotary table under symmetric and slightly asymmetric loads, when the table was rotated in the CCW direction. Error motions of the rotary table under loads were separated using a 3-axis CMM and a circular ball plate artifact. This rotary table demonstrates consistent performances in most tested loading scenarios. As a result, load eccentricities to the rotational axis of a few millimeter do not significantly influence its error motions.
