DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-PRESSURE CONTAINER USING WIRE EXPLOSION

摘要

The wire explosion technique generates plane shock wave by exploding parallel metal wire rows, using a high voltage impulsive current1'. In this study, the underwater shock waves to be generated from metal wire of four kinds (copper, alumel, SUS304 [stainless steel], nichrome) using the shadowgraph method and a high-speed camera (IMACON 468 of HADLAND PHOTONICS) are investigated and the fabrication of the new high-pressure container using wire explosions.
