摘要

The function of in-mold electromagnetic stirring (M-EMS) is discussed through the numerical simulation of flow field of molten steel in continuous casting mold. The effect of condition of submerged entry nozzle is also discussed through the numerical simulation. The results revealed the importance of adequate arrangement of M-EMS and submerged entry nozzle for the quality control of casts.
