摘要

A levitation method using alternating and static magnetic fields has been developed. Static magnetic field can control intensity of the convection and the oscillation. Oscillation of the single mode was achieved at an optimum magnetic field. In the present method, the mode identification can be simplified. The estimated surface tension did not significantly differed from that estimated by the conventional method. Further study on the influence of static magnetic field will develop a new technique.
