摘要

Magnetic polymer microspheres are used extensively in the field of medical science, biology and magnetic materials etc for its mechanical properties and magnetic properties. The method of preparing magnetic polymer microspheres are suspension polymerization, emulsion polymerization and so on. The particles produced by these methods have a wide distribution, So an important factor of these methods lies in how to produce polymer microspheres of uniform size. As the size distribution of polymer microspheres is considered to be determined by the coalescence and breakup of polymer droplets in the course of polymerization . Thus,We used seeded soapless emulsion polymerization to prepare the monodispersed magnetic P(St-AA) microspheres. Additionally the magnetic properties of P(St-AA)]Ni microspheres were tested.
