On the rolling of H-Beam,the author developed the new rolling method with Universal Edging Mill: UE instead of 2 Hi Edging Mill.The reduction ratio of flange thickness on UE Mill can be more than 30% by one pass and more than 40% by successive two passes without rolling defect on the outer flange surface.As the result,compared with conventional semi-continuous mill for small H-Beams,the mill stand number and stock-rolls can be much reduced with keeping the same rolling productivity.And compared with UR/E/UF tandem mill for medium and large H-Beams,the rolling productivity can be much improved.And in this UR/UE/UF tandem mill,the sheet-pile can be also produced.
