摘要

In the material transport system, surge bins are often set, such as coal bin, ore bin and storage bin, etc. Theoretically surge bin has many virtues. But in practice these virtues often can't be fully reflected. So studying surge bin system to realize its beneficial functions are very significance. Until now there have been many references studying material transport system with surge bin, but complicated dynamic varying of it and the disadvantageous influence of reliability of bin itself was usually ignored. By emphasizing these factors, this paper made use of random dynamic simulation method to study a practical surge bin system and created the corresponding simulation program. The proponed method can solve some problems about optimization design of surge bin system, such as how large bin capacity should be selected for satisfying certain reliability and production requirement, and etc. Application result shows that presented method was valid.
