Ecological and Environmental Safety and its Strategies in Shanxi, China

摘要

Shanxi, as the most important base of energy and heavy chemical industry of China, has the most serious problems in environmental and ecological safety. Improving environmental and ecological situation is an urgent and long-term task concerning human life, economy and sustainable development of this province. This paper, based on sustainable development theories, intends to analyze the current situation of environment and ecology in Shanxi, to discuss the causes of environmental and ecological degeneration, and to put forward the strategies in improving its environmental and ecological situation.
