摘要

This paper describes a multiprocessor digital image processing system,which is comligured by a PC-XT microcomputer,a TMS32820 high-speed processing module,and a PCVISION Frame Grabber.The PC-XT functions as the master and TMS32820 for fast image processing.Take the advantage of the high-speed performance of TMS32820,the processing speed of the system if much higher than an ordinary micro-computer system and comparable to a specialized image system such as VAX11/758+Model 75.Im the software design,the generality,modularity and flexibility were emphasized.It is hoped that the system may facilitate practical applications of digital image processing as well as the research activities in universities and institues.
