This paper presents a mesurement system used for W-band complex perimittivity measurements performed in NASA Langley Research Enter's Electromagnetics Research Branch. The system was used to characterize candidate radome materials for the passive millimeter wav (PMMW) camera expeeriment. The PMMW camera is a new technology sensor, with goals of all-wealther landings of civilian and military aircraft. The sensor was developed by TRW as part of a cooperative agreement for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the dual-use technology program.
