LAROX POLISHING FILTERS IN CHEMICAL HYDROMETALLURGICAL PROCESSES NEW ADVANCES IN ADSORPTION FILTRATION

Larox has developed and provided solid/liquid separation solutions to various industries since 1977. The present product range is suitable for many modern chemical and hydro metallurgical process filtration steps, including those found in the base metal refining (Cu, Ni & Zn), chloralkali, soda ash and white pigment industries. Larox Polishing Filters are used to purify liquids such as thickener overflow solutions, ion exchange and solvent extraction feed solutions, solutions ahead of crystallization or precipitation, and filtrate or centrate solutions. Particle removal using the adsorption filtration technique eliminates the need to use filter aid for pre-coating and body feeding, whilst producing a high quality filtrate, which in some applications is less than 1 ppm solids. Users enjoy fully automated operation, report exceptionally low operational costs, and reliable process results. Several practical examples are introduced with flow sheets and basic operational data.
