Cultural diversity and sustainability; is there a connection?

Discussion of the relationship between the preservation of cultural diversity and sustainability. The diverse field experiences of several Textile and apparel researchers will be used to demonstrate various approaches to this common goal. This should be quite a visual session as the presenters will have slides of their fieldwork from different cultures/locales.
