摘要

The present research was carried out to formulate acid resistant pelletized dosage form of model drug using suspension layering technique. The non pareil seeds were used as the base material on which layering of active and functional ingredients carried out to convert them from non functional to functional core material using Glatt Powder Coater Granulator (GPCG) (Wurster technology). Pellets so prepared were filled in capsule size '0' and dissolution study was performed in acid as well as in buffer stage. Evaluation of developed palletized dosage form of model drug proved that the process adopted for manufacturing provides a product meeting all the predetermined specifications. The desired acid-protective effect was obtained with 50%w/w coating of HPMC P-55.
