摘要

Nanostructured biodegradable polymers have been developed as a platform for controlled release. Ocular delivery of ranibizumab, a macular degeneration therapeutic, has been selected as a model system for device development. Controlled transport of ranibizumab through nanostructured poly(caprolactone) membranes has been demonstrated, and preliminary in vivo ocular biocompatibility of nanostructured films indicate this approach is viable for long-term ocular delivery.
