COAL PREPARATION IN INDIA

摘要

India is the third largest producer of coal in the world yet it is behind the other producing countries in clean coal production using coal beneficiation. The current status of the industry will be reviewed. The efforts by the producers, consumers and Government of India agencies to promote the needed increase in coal preparation will be presented. The bureaucratic, social and economic environments will be examined from the perspective of the author's experience.
