Line 2 of the Bilbao Metro is currently being executed in land and soil similar to the kind encountered in the construction of Line 1, which enables us to take advantage of the experience gained in construction methods, works organisation and environmental protection. Success involves having a design project that takes account of all the factors and elements potentially affected by the work and which includes the means to reduce such effects to a minimum.
