CONTEMPORARY PROBLEMS OF ECOPATHOLOGY AND EVALUATION OF HEALTH RISK IN MANAGEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY IN THE URAL REGION

Management of environmental quality is a complex but extremely pressing question for the Ural Region where metallurgical and chemical enterprises are concentrated. Regional link is a necessary basic modulus of developing improvement of the territory. Regional data on hygenical information, environmental factors, biological effects and health indices of the population are necessary in order to effectively assess health risks and implement management of the environmental quality.rnIn this regard, we present the socio-ecological situation in Magnitogorsk, an area with highly concentrated sources of ecological risk. The city is in a state of ecological crisis and is also undergoing a period of deep crisis in the social sphere (health care, education, science, culture). This is a typical situation for the Ural Region.
