Interior Design and Classification of the Changeability of Building in the Life Cycle

摘要

Interior design is a work in some given space in the building. Therefore the interior design has close relation to the changeability of building construction. Building has not a few chances of partial or whole reform of the plan, interior finishes, or functions in its life Cycle, because of the change of requirements for building. The changeability of building become an important matter for the contemporary building management and moreover for the building long life. Therefore the changeability of building should be concretely defined for the building life cycle plan. This paper proposes 4 kinds of classification for the changeability of building as follows, TYPE-0: changeability of usual alternation of the part of the building without any construction work, TYPE-1: previously instituted system changeability of interior and building equipment with very simple work, TYPE-2; changeability for not forecasted reform of the interior and building equipment without any skeletal work, TYPE-3: changeability of the building skeleton or the building shape itself. Any type of building requires characteristic type of changeability suitable for the proper use of the building and the service level forecasting future.
