Measuring Radiation in the Stratosphere: A High Altitude Balloon Journey

摘要

The following experiment was conducted through a stratospheric high altitude balloon journey of a payload designed to measure radiation levels. From the experiment, a direct correlation between radiation and altitude was verified. Furthermore, the correlation was used to determine the location of the Pfotzer maximum and radiation levels experienced by pilots.
