Thus, it can be concluded that herbicide Quizalofop-ethyl is highly effective and selective for controlling grassy weeds particularly Echinochloa spp. and reducing weed biomass and increased soybean yield without any phytotoxic effects on the soybean and did not have any residual effect on the succeeding wheat crop. The new generation herbicide Quizalofop-ethyl can be safely used for efficient weed management in soybean-wheat cropping sequence.
