The Research and Application of the In-Team-Competition System of Modern Enterprises' Operation Decision-Making Simulation Teaching Software Series

As a fundamental required course within the management curricula of Information Management and Information System major, Decision Support System aims to make students master the basic theory and methodology of modern management decision-making. However, the lack of effective practices becomes a big obstacle to students' integrated application of management knowledge, which is dispersed in many courses. Focus on this issue, we have successfully developed a series of teaching software of modern enterprises' operation decision-making simulation to provide an lnternet-based platform to let students feel enterprises' operation decision-making process without the limitation of time and space, and then improve their capabilities of applying theory to analyzing and solving practical problems. The In- Team-Competition system develops a simulated competition environment with characteristics upon some new demands and bases on a solid foundation of former teaching software series. It can help students experiment the competition simulation better. The success of our simulation teaching software will probably contribute to the cultivation of management decision-making talents and shed some light on the teaching reform of economic and managerial education.
