TRENDS IN STANDARDIZATION IN THE AREA OF ACCEPTANCE AND REVERIFICATION TESTS FOR COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINES
The article discusses the current state of the standards and guidelines in the area of acceptance and reverification tests for coordinate measuring machines and in the area of measurement uncertainty evaluation of coordinate measurements. Changes in the new edition of the ISO 10360-2 standard and in the test probing error of the contacting probing system described in the ISO/PAS 12686 specifications are also considered.
