SEMANTIC AND EMOTIONAL MUSIC IMAGE INTEGRATION WITH IMPRESSION-BASED CORRELATION COMPUTING

In the field of the cross media systems, one of thernimportant issues is how to extract and deal with thernimpression of media data to realize impression-basedrnmedia retrieval. In this paper, we present impressionrnextraction and correlation calculation methods forrnautomatic cross media synchronization as a new approachrnfor automatic VJ (Visual Jockey) systems with impressionrncalculation. The significant features of our methods are:rn1) cross media impression extraction from media datarn(music and image), 2) correlation calculation inrnimpression between cross media, such as impression ofrnmusic and impression of an image, for VJ applications, 3)rnapplication to an experimental VJ system. This paperrnshows several experimental results to clarify thernfeasibility and effectiveness of our framework andrnmethods.
