摘要

Impregnation of rovings with polymers enhances their tensile strength and strain at failure. By the use of adhesives for coating textiles the outer bond between coated fiber and concrete can also degrade in dependence of the used adhesive, its surface properties and outline. Therefore a surface modification of the impregnated fiber or textile can be sensible. Testing structural elements made of textile reinforced concrete considers the inner and the outer bond properties. The tests are suitable instruments to estimate the applicability of the used fibers and polymers. The fracture behavior of textile reinforced concrete structures can be adjusted by the choice of the polymer. The polymer coating protects the fibers against chemical and mechanical exposure. Concerning some polymers the aging process im-proves the adhesion between polymer and the used con-crete. Trough this better mechanical properties can be achieved.
