CSCW '98 doctoral colloquium

The Doctoral Colloquium at CSCW-98 is a forum in which Ph.D. students meet and discuss their work with each other and a panel of experienced CSCW researchers and practitioners. This year's panel of researchers and practitioners include Judy and Gary Olson, chairs Atul Prakash, Carl Gutwing; Joerge haake, and Yvonne Waern. Then participants were accepted fr9om the disciplines that form CSCWm including computer sicnce, cogitive science, sociology, etc. The abstracts of their work appear below. During the colloquium, participants give a short informal presentation onf their wrk, followed by an open discussion of their work. At the end of the session is a general discussion of career issues and research is CSCW.
