摘要

An inverse natural convection problem with multiple unknown heating fluxes is examined in this study by conjugate gradient method based on temperature measurements inside the enclosure.In this approach,no a priori information is needed about the unknown function to be determined.The gradient of the cost function is introduced when appropriate sensitivity and adjoint problems are defined.Particularly,the pressure-based SIMPLE algorithm is adopted to solve the continuum direct,sensitivity and adjoint problems in unification.The accuracy of the heat flux profile estimations is shown to depend strongly on the thermal Rayleigh number.
