Wwith the last ten to fifteen years Low-and High Carbon Wire Rods have undergone many changes in steel quality and final application, in the requirements to their performance in general and in the steel manufacturing process as well. The demands of the market for more improved application was stressing the performance of wires at all whilst lower costs and price levels were being forced. Following the market situationj-it is a Must vecuase3 of gloal competition and sourcing-it can be recognized that technologies are changing dramatically in terms of: steel making practice and steel production and in the inception of automatic machines/machining in manufacturing process.
