摘要

A carburized layer composed of hardness phase TiC and free state phase C were formed on titanium alloy Ti6A14V surface by using the double glow plasma hydrogen-free carburizing which enhanced titanium alloy's wear resistance, and avoided hydrogen brittleness. The results showed that the content of C decreased from top to bottom; moreover the formation of barrier layer high concentration TiC phase inhibited the diffusion of C.
