From 18 to 20 August 2010,a heavy mountain rainstorm occurred in Dujiangyan city of Sichuan province.Due to the complex local geography and the special geological structure over mountainous areas,mudslides broke out accompanying the rainstorm.The catastrophic rainstorm and mudslides lead to the complete interrupt of local transportation and communication.
